Started the project to get into the groove of Actionscript 3.0. Anyway:
Nelkin is stirring up the galaxy again, and it's up to SpaceFlyer to stop them!

Wednesday, October 29, 2008 - Yesterday I just finished up the ship editor, I've been working pretty much everyday on this game. Also, yesterday I made a bunch of comments in alot if the files so I can start putting it all together. After I have most of the gfx and such in one file, I will do the final gfx because currently all the gfx are beta.
Wednesday, December 24, 2008 - Well, i thought it's been long enough since i last updated this news feed. Alrighty. To break it down, in the production of this game i use mutliple parts to cover the main aspects of the game. Because currently in the game i have a ship editor and a ship selector. and it would be too much fo a hassle to make it one fla, things could get confusing. So, i split it up and coded out each part individually. After i got those all done, i started the regular composition, i just copied the data from each fla and pasted it into the main. Also, in each fla, i named each graphic/movieclip with a special name for each section of the game it would appear in, IE: 'menu_btn_startgame'. now that i had all the data in one fla, all i had to do was change up some variables to get it working with eachother (to note, it definetly was not as easy as it sounds right here). Now on what's new:
Well, i just finished coding up the AI for the first boss, now i have only one boss left.
All the graphics are done for the game
For the most part it's bug-free
All i have left is the animation to do. I have four parts to animate, the intro sequence, and then 3 cutscenes.
